couldn’t afford the DSV Alvin resin model kit i’d been stalking on ebay for the brawny man’s christmas present….i jacked it up to $75 (which was my ABSOLUTE limit since it’s so rare) and it still wasn’t enough for a high bid.

maybe another will show up.  i’ve got one and i’d really like him to have one….since, y’know, he used to pilot the damn thing lol.

backup plan is this awesome model of the Shinkai 6500 (which he’s also dived in)….though i’ll have to translate all the instructions in advance.  bonus though, it has an LED kit, diver/scientist figures, and some really cool cutaways to show the sub’s innards.
