FUCK YEAH UNDERPANTS!
There was a Revolutionary Girl Utena exhibition in Tokyo recently~ It was the largest exhibition for the show to date and Ikuhara and Chiho Saito were there doing signings. There were many cells, merchandise, packaging and press releases on display as well as the stunning Rose Bride gown. The gown took a month to make, has boning around the waist and the fabric had to be dyed to make the colours just right.

The girl hobbit costumes are actually SO much better this go around, I think. Of course there were some lovelies in LotR, but my god. These are gorgeous. I can’t pick which one I love the most…but my eye keeps drifting back to the teal-blue one in velvet. Though pink and green…I LOVE pink and green and that fabric is so cute and 18thcentury!
